[WARDED PRIVATE TO ABERFORTH DUMBLEDORE.]I went to scout out the school and see how the grounds are faring since the battle. It all appears to be in order -- at least as in order as can be expected. The wards do not appear to have changed since immediately after the battle, which I assume means that Death Eaters will still be unable to enter.
Have you had any luck with your half-goblin friend?

[WARDED PRIVATE TO THE ORDER.]Is anyone in a position to find out more about this 'public vote' fiasco? While I am not particularly interested in politics myself, I think it is important that we campaign against this proposed bill as much as we possibly can. With the purists, it is a slippery slope and we must be sure to overrule this with as great a majority as possible. If we allow them this, they will be demanding more extreme limitations on our personal lives and decisions in the future.
There has been some talk of fixing the outcome of the vote -- how possible is this and what will it take to do it? Perhaps one of us who is still able to vote (Abe mentioned that his ID has turned red and I doubt it is safe for those of us in that situation to try and do anything requiring us to show our IDs regardless of whether or not we are in hiding) could use a duplication charm on their ballot to assure that the result is in our favour. We have some time to plan this, but we should be sure to decide well enough in advance that we can form a fool-proof plan of action for when the time comes.
On a more immediate note, is everything and everyone prepared for tonight? Those of you who will be joining us, please keep safety a priority at all times. This should be as quick and painless an offensive as possible. Just to refresh everyone on our course of action -- set phasers to Stun, make sure there are no civilians in the building, burn the place down and return to the safehouse as quickly as possible. The only marks you should have on your bodies are those caused by soot.

[WARDED PRIVATE TO THE ORDER.]In addition to Longbottom's last entry regarding an offensive operation on the Daily Prophet, I propose that in the wake of our founders' demise, we take a moment to re-group and decide what our goals aside from winning will be for the summer. The Death Eaters are winning, not slowly but quite surely, and we must eliminate whatever resources we can as quickly as we can. Targeting the Daily Prophet will at least temporarily cut off some of their public support, but I suggest that we also use more of our own resources to locate the camps harboring their werewolves, hags, vampires and whatever else they are using in their battles and eliminate those.
As part of our re-grouping, I propose that we turn Hogwarts into a true safe haven for ourselves and those in need of protection. The building is certainly large enough to accommodate us and if we are able to find a systematic way to move in and out, we will not be touched within its walls. While I am sure that most of us are not thrilled at the idea of relocating to a permanent safe location, it is undoubtedly the most efficient way to prevent attacks. I, for one, no longer feel as though my home is adequately secured against invasion and our own personal safety is uncompromisable when we are evidence of what little retaliatory force our country has left.
Additionally, though it may be unpleasant, we must consider the use of more extreme means against our enemies. While our numbers are dwindling, theirs appear to be growing, and we cannot afford them the luxury of compassion. They would no sooner kill us than waste time sustaining damage and perhaps what is needed to change the course of this war is a likewise ruthlessness. This war will not be won with hexes and jinxes. Now is not the time to show either weakness or mercy. We must strike hard and fast and then retreat. We cannot afford to lose anyone else to these lace curtain bastards.
